With the Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Load Balancing Kit 100A (dynamic load balancing package with a current of up to 100 amps), you can charge your electrified Mercedes-Benz even more efficiently and safely. With the ability to safely balance power consumption between your charging station and other devices on site, you can charge efficiently while protecting your grid connection from overload.

Safety has top priority
The Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Load Balancing Kit (DLB Kit) provides additional protection during charging for the vehicleprotection for the vehicle, the domestic installation (household appliances in operation) and the wallbox during charging. Dynamic Load Balancing uses continuous real-time monitoring to measure the building's power consumption and releases charging current to the wallbox when capacity is available. The kit helps you to avoid costs by preventing an increase in energy consumption while allowing you to reach your maximum charging capacity.

Configuration of the DLB kit
The installer can easily set the possible threshold currents via the Wallbox installation app. You receive information on the building's energy consumption as well as a transparent overview of your current charging current and charging history.

Installation
The DLB kit is simply connected via a cable connection between the control cabinet and the wallbox. If you are interested in a professional load management installation, please contact our installation partner in the respective country. The installation is not included in the purchase price, but you will receive a cost overview for the installation from our installation partner, who will be happy to check on site whether the Mercedes-Benz DLB kit can be installed in the meter box at your home.Please note: The Mercedes-Benz DLB kit must only be installed by a qualified electrician or the installation partner and is not intended for installation by the end user. Please also observe the local rules and regulations.

* To use the remote functions of the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox and to receive over-the-air updates, the Mercedes me app, a personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the terms of use for the Mercedes me connect services are required. To receive over-the-air updates, you need the Mercedes me app. In this app, you must agree to the respective update or you can set the automatic installation of updates in the Mercedes me app. The technical possibility of receiving over-the-air updates does not mean that problems or other issues cannot arise that need to be dealt with by a specialist on site.
