There are models that cause a stir in the automotive industry and leave a lasting impression even decades later. This certainly includes the Type 600, which rolled off the production line between 1963 and 1991 and caused a real sensation when it was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1963. After all, the saloon was designed as an exclusive representative vehicle and, as a new top-of-the-range model, was equipped as standard with unique technical features in line with the state of the art at the time. For the first time, a V8 injection engine with a displacement of 6.3 liters and a maximum output of 250 hp was used to power the car. Together with the built-in automatic gearbox, this made it possible to achieve sports car-like speeds of over 205 km/h. Series production of the "Big Mercedes", as the Type 600 was also known, finally began in September 1964 and included other variants in addition to the five- to six-seater saloon. And even as a miniature model on a scale of 1:18, the 600 Pullman saloon W 100 still makes collectors' hearts beat faster today. After all, the hand-assembled precision model consists of over 378 individual parts and 157 prints and decorations and is painted in an authentic color. You can also look forward to a faithful reproduction of all interior details, such as a high-quality decorated interior and a flocked interior and trunk floor. In addition, six parts of the model - doors, hood and tailgate - can be opened. In the trunk, you will also find six suitcases in different sizes. The spare wheel storage compartment in the trunk can also be opened. A steering axle and axle suspension complete the features of the model car, which is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging. You will find a glove in the packaging so that you can remove the precision model from the packaging without leaving fingerprints on the glazing or the painted bodywork.
